SITE SELECTION & STORE DESIGN


Q. How is a location found for my store?
A. Our Franchise Development Division will provide you with counseling assistance in selecting your site, if needed. Once the site is chosen, Tudor's Biscuit World will help you to prepare a feasibility study which carefully examines population trends, traffic counts, proximity of shopping areas, visibility and accessability. These study results are then presented to our Franchise Review Committee. For your own protection and benefit, Tudor's Biscuit World consent to the location you have chosen is necessary before granting your franchise option.


Q. Where can I purchase Tudor's Biscuit World-approved products and supplies?
A. We'll give you a list of Tudor's Biscuit World-approved products and specifications. You can buy the product from the supplier of your choice. As a special service, we'll also provide you with a list of companies and warehouses throughout the country whom we know can supply products that meet our quality control standards, if needed. A nationwide distribution network is in place to meet the many needs of the franchisee.


Q. Will someone help me open the store?
A. Yes! We believe opening a business involves an awesome amount of detail and responsibility. It's crucial that the new store's opening runs smoothly. Our staff will help in training, contacting suppliers, ordering initial inventory and more before the store opening.


Q. Once I'm in business, what assistance is available?
A. First you'll receive Tudor's Biscuit World management training covering the many facets of your restaurant operation. Periodically, you'll receive our newsletters, which contain useful management information and spotlight important happenings. At national and regional conventions you'll see firsthand the plans for the coming year and you'll be able to exchange ideas with Tudor's Biscuit World operators from all over the country. Finally, our field representatives will consult with you regularly. They'll offer useful advice on customer convenience, product quality, product development, management control, training, communications, and more.


Q. What about store design?
A. Tudor's Biscuit World has invested a great deal of time and energy in developing a facility with a functional interior floor plan as well as an appealing exterior design. The franchisee will be provided with plans and specifications that conform to the franchisors prototype model. The franchisor will be flexible regarding store design requirements when an existing structure is being used.
